7:00 pm – The board of directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the items that were discussed:

7:35 pm – Meeting was called to order

Introduction of Officers:  Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary(absent), Roger Carfangia- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap(absent).

Treasurer’s Report: Chris read the report.

Bills and Communications:  Chris said there is a 15% increase in the electric bill for the 2023 year.   

Pop: Steve turned in $15.

Rental Committee Report:  Frolic on March 25th. Pistol sectional match on March 24, 25, and 26.   

Pistol Team:  Rodger reported for 5 matches.  He took in $432, expenses were $203, kept $69, and turned in $160.  The pistol team gathers on Thursdays at 5 pm to shoot 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All are welcome to come practice.

Trap Team:  The winter trap league will be ending on January 29th.     

Black Powder:  Mike reported a nice turnout for the Christmas deer hunt.  The annual Frolic will be held on March 25th and will start around 9 am. 

Meat Shoot:  Mike took in$200, expenses were $100, kept $30, and turned in $70.  The meat shoots are held on the 2nd Sunday of every month.  They start at 11 am and are open to members and the public. 

Junior Rifle Team:  Mike Ripley is no longer running the Junior Rifle team.  Anyone that is interested in taking over please contact Mike or a board of directors.    

Archery: 

Fun Indoor Shoot:  Barry turned in $115.  The fun shoots happen on Mondays. Doors open at 9 am with the first shoot starting around 10 am.    

Rifle:  The first rifle match will start on March 26th and will continue to be on the last Sunday of each month.  Entry into the first event is $5 and will be $4 to re-enter into additional matches.  There are 4 different classes to shoot in depending on the type of .22 rifle and optics.  Registration time is around 9 am. 

            A new .22 caliber rifle event is scheduled to start on January 29th and be held again on February 26th.  This event will be located at the outdoor pistol range.  Registration is around 9 am with shooting starting at 10 am.    

Membership:   Brian took in $4,995, $685 to the maintenance fund, and $4,310 to the general fund, $220 in key cards.  New members for 2023 are up to 14.    total members, including 487 senior life/charter members.  *REMINDER- Renewal applications will be accepted for the year 2023 until the meeting held in February.   Please send a check for the correct amount with a self-addressed stamp envelope to Brian.  Please remember if you have a hall entry key, and wish to keep it active, remember to include $10 in addition to your membership renewal.
